Welcome to the Royal Arch in Sussex

Welcome to the Provincial Grand Chapter of Sussex.

Whether you are a freemason looking for information about the next stage in your masonic journey, or just visiting us with a general interest in freemasonry, we hope you find this website interesting and informative.

The Order of the Holy Royal Arch is the final part of the four-stage journey from Initiation to Exaltation that is known as ‘Pure Antient Masonry’ – and is available to every Master Mason of at least four weeks standing, and I encourage all masons to seriously consider this important stage. It is a friendly, colourful and rewarding experience.

Members of the Royal Arch meet in Chapters and are called Companions. Each Chapter has Three Principals who rule conjointly and normally serve in each of the Three Principals chairs for one year.

On this site you will find details of our 72 chapters that meet throughout the Province of Sussex and for details or any enquiries, please feel free to get in touch with us using the contact form.

For whatever reason you are visiting us today, a very warm welcome awaits

Christopher Lintern Moore
Most Excellent Grand Superintendent
